Portwell now launches the 16-channel industrial grade Digital Security Surveillance (DSS) system to meet the customer demands.

Powered by Intel® Pentium® 4 processor 550 CPU with Hyper-Threading Technology, supported by the Intel® 915GV express graphics chipset and 128MB shared DDR memory. To meet remote site requirement, the two 10 Base-T/100 Base-TX/1000 Base-T Ethernet provide sufficient internet bandwidth to transmit video bit streaming data to central monitoring terminals.

PVR-2423 is a 2U Rackmount DSS system passing the industrial requirement of non-stop operation test for 24 hours, under 45 degree C. If users prefer having a small DVR system that is durable under high ambient temperature, PVR-2423 is the best choice. Supplementing with Hardware CODEC Video capture cards, PVR-2423 becomes a powerful system to deliver CIF and full D1 resolution and up to 480 frames per second.

The software program is specially designed to optimize hardware performance of PVR-2423. It allows users to explore the features such as preview and recording frame rate adjustment, recording mode selection, motion detection, region selection, recorded video search by date, time, camera and the type of event.

In addition, PVR-2423 has a universal USB remote control receiver embedded in the system. This advantage could help to integrate with all the mouse operation, number keypad and playback functions. This user-friendly feature make end-users to learn how to operate the system quickly.
