Portwell announced a smallest panel PC PARD-S070T with 3.5" embedded board based on Intel 852GM chipset. With a combination of low-voltage Intel^® Pentium^® M processor and the Intel^® 852GM chipset, it delivers the highest level of performance at the lowest possible voltage. This form factor could help to meet the application requirement of in-car infotainment systems, medical equipment and interactive client, including Automation and HMI.

With a touch-screen display of only 7 inches, the space-saving and versatile PARD-S070T offers scalable Intel^® Celeron^® performance and a interfaces in an easy-to-mount and flexible design.

In fact, the PARD-S070T is an extremely compact and ultra slim (installation depth < 50 mm) panel PC that is less expensive than a full-fledged IPC but still offers stronger graphics, intuitive GUIs and touch-screen operation on a 800x480 LTPS TFT display. Designed with flexibility in mind, this panel PC provides scalable performance up to the Celeron^® M 1GHz processor for use as either a thin client, web client, user terminal or controller. The PARD-S070T is a flexible solution with 1 x 10/100 Ethernet, 4 x USB 2.0, 1 x RS232, 1x Audio, Wireless, and Bluetooth function support.

As a complete all in one HMI system, the PARD-S070T panel PC is also a good choice for Point of Sale, Point of Information, stand alone kiosks and other applications that require easy installation via the rear of the machine. In addition, traditional panel mounting as well as VESA mounting, make the compact and versatile PARD-S070T the truly mount-anywhere panel PC.

PARD-S070T panel PC feature an on-board, low-power consumption and fanless CPU. The construction of low-power CPU increases reliability and guarantees lower energy costs. The fanless design can prevent noise caused by a fan and protects the computing apparatus from the dust. So it is very suitable to critical application.

Shock and vibration resistance, thermal stability and compliance with the strictest EMC standards are standard features of this 7-inch display panel PC, as is long term availability of at least 5 years. Windows CE.net, Windows XP Embedded and Embedded Linux are also available as standard.
