Portwell Releases New High Performance Fanless Embedded System Powered by 10^th Generation Intel^® Core™ Processors

Portwell, Inc., a world-leading innovator for Industrial PC (IPC) and embedded computing solutions, and a Titanium Partner of the Intel Partner Alliance, announces WEBS-45H1, a high-performance fanless box PC. Powered by the 10th Generation Intel Core processor with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630, the WEBS-45H1 system supports high-resolution triple-display output, serving as an ideal platform for performance and graphics-demanding applications.

WEBS-45H1 aims to provide a solution with flexibility and power-efficiency that adapts in various working scenarios. WEBS-45H1 takes advantage of a 35W Intel desktop 10^th Generation Intel Core processor and Intel Q470E chipset, which is more economical compared to its mobile counterpart and provides great efficiency as well as low power consumption.

WEBS-45H1 also features dual-channel DDR4 memory up to 64 GB and 2x 2.5” SSD slots. Its rich I/Os provide three independent display (DisplayPort/HDMI^®/VGA) interfaces with resolution up to 4K, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, three RS-232 ports, four USB 2.0 and USB 3.2 ports, one 8 bits GPIO port, and Mic-in/Line-out. Additional expansion can be achieved via M.2 such as wireless and Bluetooth module, SSD with SATA 3.0 speed and LTE modules or USB 3.0 port per request.

The rugged, fanless design of WEBS-45H1 creates a better durability to operate in harsh environment and application, such as factory/industrial automation. The WEBS-45H1 is in compliance with IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 which passed vibration test of 1Grms/ 10~500Hz and a shock test of 50G, assuring its solidity and reliability. The system’s thermal design is optimized to support -20 to 60°C operation temperature to ensure system stability. Additional thermal solutions, such as a customized heat spreader, can be implemented to realize a truly rugged fanless system. A wide range of input voltage range from DC 12v to 36v enables product usage to adapt in various scenarios.
