May is a month filled with gratitude and heartfelt blessings, and there’s no better time to show appreciation for mothers. To celebrate this meaningful occasion, Portwell’s 2025 Employee Welfare Committee launched its first flash event of the year: the Mother’s Day Themed DIY Brick Photo Frame Activity. All employees were invited to get hands-on and express their love for their moms, spouses, or family members—one colorful brick at a time.
The event took place on May 6 and was held in two sessions, welcoming a total of 120 enthusiastic participants. The atmosphere was vibrant and joyful, with laughter and creativity filling the room.
The Welfare Committee specially invited creative handcraft instructor Ms. Yang to lead the sessions. She patiently guided attendees through the entire process—from construction techniques to color matching—helping everyone design their own unique photo frame. Regardless of department or seniority, all participants put aside their daily work stress and fully immersed themselves in the fun and warmth of the activity. It was not only a creative outlet, but also an opportunity to bond with coworkers and craft one-of-a-kind gifts for loved ones. The room was frequently filled with laughter and exclamations of delight.
Many employees shared that they rarely had the chance to make a gift by hand, and this activity rekindled the joy of crafting while reminding them of the importance of expressing love and appreciation to their families. The handmade brick photo frame was more than just a charming and thoughtful present—it was a tangible expression of gratitude, love, and care.
