Portwell COM Express® carrier boards provide the power, physical connectors, expansion interfaces, and system I/O required to evaluate and integrate COM Express modules. They allow developers to validate processor performance, connectivity, software, thermal design, and application requirements before developing a customized carrier board.

Portwell offers evaluation and development carrier boards in multiple form factors:

  • Supported Module Types: COM Express Type 6, Type 7, and Type 10
  • Available Form Factors: Nano-ITX, Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and PICMG 1.3

Portwell PCOM-C60F support the COM Express type6 module Basic and Compact Sizes with ATX size(305x244mm) form factor. This carrier board passed the most of Portwell evaluation testing. These functions include but are not limited to a rich complement of high speed interfaces such as PCIe, USB4, SATA. And also support several legacy I/O such as UART, GPIO, SMBUS, I2 C.

Flexible I/O and Expansion

Depending on the selected carrier board and COM Express module, available interfaces may include PCI Express, USB, SATA, Ethernet, display outputs, audio, serial ports, GPIO, SMBus, and other industrial I/O. Selected models also support advanced connectivity such as USB4 and multiple 10 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
