To encourage employees to cultivate healthy exercise habits and foster cross-departmental collaboration, Portwell Employees’ Welfare Committee hosted the 2024 Portwell Table Tennis Game. This annual sports event, meticulously organized by the Table Tennis Club, attracted numerous passionate table tennis enthusiasts among the staff and successfully ignited a company-wide sports fever.
This year’s competition featured mixed doubles, men’s doubles, and a three-point mixed match format. Each team was required to include at least four male and two female players, emphasizing teamwork and gender equality. On the night of the competition, all teams were eager and ready to shine, demonstrating outstanding skills and high-level coordination. Players gave their all, sweating through every intense match that was packed with drama and excitement. The audience, equally enthusiastic, cheered for the players with applause and encouragement, especially during critical moments and skillful rallies, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
From the preliminary rounds to the finals, the tournament was filled with thrilling moments, testing not only the players’ technical prowess and physical endurance but also highlighting the importance of teamwork. Participants continuously challenged themselves, embodying the spirit of sportsmanship to the fullest. After numerous fierce and back-and-forth matches, the championship team emerged victorious, taking home a generous cash prize of NT$12,000 and bringing the event to a perfect conclusion.
