To promote a culture of physical fitness and enhance interdepartmental engagement, Portwell’s Welfare Committee, in collaboration with the Basketball Club, successfully hosted the 2025 PWG Portwell Basketball Open on June 19 and June 26. The tournament featured a variety of exciting events, including men’s, women’s, and mixed shooting competitions, as well as the highly anticipated 3-on-3 basketball showdown. The two-day event attracted a large number of enthusiastic employees, filling the venue with energy and anticipation.
The tournament kicked off on June 19 with the 3-on-3 preliminary games, where teams gave it their all in pursuit of a spot in the finals. On June 26, the excitement continued with fun shooting challenges and the 3-on-3 finals. Whether it was women’s free throws, men’s mid-range shooting, mixed-team shooting, or the fast-paced layup relay, each participant showcased their best form and fought hard for team honor.
The 3-on-3 finals were especially intense, with teams engaging in fast-paced offensive and defensive battles and demonstrating tactical prowess. The crowd erupted with cheers as the action reached its climax, creating a truly electrifying atmosphere. In addition to generous prizes for the top-ranking teams, even fourth-place finishers were recognized, ensuring that all participants felt appreciated and encouraged.
This year’s tournament concluded successfully, highlighting not only the employees’ enthusiasm for sports and teamwork but also Portwell’s ongoing commitment to employee well-being.
