To help employees stay healthy and energized amidst busy work schedules, Portwell organized the Health Promotion Lecture – “Take Charge of Your Health: Meridian Wellness Made Easy.” A professional Chinese medicine practitioner was invited to guide participants through practical meridian knowledge and simple hands-on techniques, teaching how to use everyday tools for effective self-care and stress relief.

The session began with an engaging introduction to the fundamentals of meridians and acupoints, helping attendees identify key points that relieve common discomforts such as neck and shoulder tension, dizziness, or digestive issues. In the “DIY Meridian Massage Tools” segment, participants learned how simple items like a pen tip or rubber ball can be used for quick, relaxing massages perfect for easing stress even in the office.

Beyond theory, the instructor led a practical “Meridian Flow Exercise,” demonstrating tapping, kneading, and gentle striking along the body to boost circulation and release muscle tension. The class concluded with a “Gua Sha First-Aid Method,” showing how tools as simple as a coin or spoon can help relieve mild heatstroke or minor ailments safely and effectively.
