Portwell, Inc., a leading provider of embedded computing solutions, is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 New Taipei City International Trade Fair, taking place September 17–18 at Hilton Taipei Sinban.
Hosted by the New Taipei City Government under the theme “Smart New Taipei, Connecting the World,” the conference aims to strengthen global collaboration, brand exposure, and international market opportunities for innovative enterprises. The event will spotlight five strategic industries—5G/AI, electric and smart vehicles, smart manufacturing, green energy, and smart healthcare—while also debuting a cultural showcase for ceramics and tea.
At this international stage, Portwell will highlight its AIoT-driven healthcare innovations through three collaborative demonstrations with industry partners, underscoring its commitment to smart healthcare and precision medical applications.
Addressing the global challenge of nursing shortages, Portwell and StreamTeck present an AIoT-driven contactless patient monitoring solution that leverages the StreamTeck T60 mmWave sensor (TFDA Class II certified) combined with infrared temperature sensing. This system captures heart rate, respiration, and temperature without physical contact, reducing infection risks and alleviating nursing workloads.
At the heart of the solution is the Portwell PHCP-22011 AIO Panel PC, serving as a centralized dashboard for real-time, multi-patient monitoring. With Intel® Core™ Ultra processors, DDR5 memory, and seamless DICOM integration, the platform enables faster nurse response times, workflow efficiency, and enhanced patient safety—making it ideal for ICUs, dialysis centers, VIP rooms, and infectious disease wards.
Portwell and Altewan introduce an advanced AI-assisted MRI brain tumor detection system that combines DeepBT™ Detector-Plus, a Dual-pathway Residual U-Net segmentation algorithm, with the high-performance Portwell MEDS-7081 medical-grade platform powered by 13th Gen Intel® Core™ processors.
This solution addresses the complexity of MRI interpretation, enabling faster, more accurate tumor localization and boundary segmentation. Supporting high-end GPUs via PCIe Gen5, the MEDS-7081 accelerates AI inference for near real-time analysis, reducing diagnostic time and improving treatment planning. By enhancing precision and reliability, this collaboration represents a significant step toward intelligent precision medicine.
Responding to Taiwan’s high demand for dialysis treatments, Portwell and Muen present an AI-driven hemodialysis risk prediction platform that provides real-time analysis of cardiovascular risk factors during dialysis sessions.
Powered by the Portwell MEDS-P1600 Medical Panel PC, equipped with Intel® Celeron® J6413 processors and a 15.6-inch FHD multi-touch display, the solution captures and analyzes real-time patient data to predict heart failure risk and optimize fluid removal accuracy. The system enhances workflow efficiency, reduces clinical workload, and improves dialysis outcomes by offering predictive analytics and personalized patient monitoring.
Through its collaborations with StreamTeck, Altewan, and Muen, Portwell will demonstrate how AI and embedded computing technologies are transforming healthcare delivery, from contactless patient monitoring to advanced diagnostic imaging and intelligent dialysis management.
Portwell warmly invites visitors to explore these cutting-edge innovations at New Taipei City International Trade Fair (September 17–18, Hilton Taipei Sinban), where the company will highlight its mission of enabling smarter, safer, and more efficient healthcare solutions for global markets.
