Portwell, a global innovator in industrial and embedded computing solutions, has released the PCOM-B887. This COM-HPC Client Type Size C module fully complies with the PICMG COM-HPC Revision 1.2 specification. Powered by Intel®Core™ Ultra 200S Series processors, the PCOM-B887 is a high-performance computer-on-module platform engineered specifically for AI-enabled embedded applications.

The module features Intel®Core™ Ultra processor architecture with an integrated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). By combining a CPU, GPU, and dedicated AI acceleration into a single platform, it optimizes AI inference capabilities. Furthermore, it significantly improves power efficiency for dynamic, intelligent edge systems.

 

High-Performance AI Computing with Flexible Expansion

Designed for demanding embedded workloads, the PCOM-B887 delivers exceptional computing performance and advanced connectivity. The module supports Intel®Core™ Ultra 200S Series socket processors and an integrated NPU for AI acceleration. Additional features include PCIe Gen5 and Gen4 support, USB4, up to 192GB of DDR5 memory, SATA storage, and multiple display interfaces (DDI and eDP). This powerful combination allows OEMs and system integrators to build scalable platforms. These platforms can easily handle AI inference, high-resolution graphics, and real-time data processing while supporting future technology upgrades.
